Has GIB had an upgrade in leading its long suit in no-trumps

It used to be that GIB would lead a potentially contract killing suit and then it or its GIB partner never lead it again but I just had a free tournament and it started with spades and if you didn't play miraculously good then it would break the suit.

Very Irritating with bot sometimes seem to lead the most obtuse suit. 2 card or 3 card suit in Not trumps for no reason.
Nice to hear maybe a change has been made

Sometimes GIB will lead a long suit that is the very best lead.

The chance that GIB leads were improved recently is not quite as likely as a blind squirrel finding a nut.
