The 2♦ bid is explained as "aggressive weak jump overcall, 6+ diamonds, 4-9 points" or something like that. The (robot) partner's subsequent 3NT suggests that it was interpreted correctly, though.

Yes there are many examples of this, it seems that in general only the last round of bidding is used for explaining bids.
