Congratulations to nige1 who has been selected to represent Scotland in the 2018 Senior Camrose next May. Nige1, and his partner, were not in the winning team but have been added as the third pair after finishing second in the cross imping, having scored more than double the third-placed pair.
I believe this is nige1's first international selection and he is rewarded with a trip to Wales. There is a fair chance he will meet lamford at the table, who is competing in the Welsh trials next month.
Well done!
Paul

Sneaking into the Scotland Camrose team based on the butler ranking, rather than winning the event! Tsk, tsk,...
Congrats.

Are the Camrose matches going to be broadcast on Vugraph here?

The Home International Series is normally on Vugraph but the amount of coverage depends on the venue, number of operators, local organisation, etc.
The first weekend of the Camrose (Open Series) is coming from Belfast on 5-7 January and I expect they will cover all six tables. The second weekend of the Camrose will come from Dublin on 2-4 March and I expect they will also cover all six tables.
The Junior Camrose (U26) and Peggy Bayer (U21) will come from Coventry on 16-18 February. Coverage is normally limited to a couple of tables as the number of teams varies, many potential operators are playing, and the age of the competitors.
The Lady Milne (Women's Series) comes from Edinburgh on 13-15 April and we will be covering all six tables.
The Teltscher Trophy (Senior Series) is 18-20 May from Wales. Typically there is limited coverage (two tables).
Put them in your diary!

cherdano will be representing Scotland in the first weekend of the Camrose (5-7 January) next month although, to be fair, it will not be his first cap (I can't remember if I mentioned his first appearance, I expect he does!). This time he has to withstand the hospitality of Northern Ireland as well as the other teams - it will be different to the frugality of the Scots.

And I got selected despite not winning the trials (which ran as teams of 4s), just like Nigel for the Seniors.
