Help
In the last few days I repeatedly get "504 Gateway Timeout - the server did not respond in time" error messages when trying to access the forums. Eventually I get through but only after many repeated attempts.
I have tried deleting my history, and using alternative browsers, but get the same effect.
I have not had this problem with any other site.
Is it just me?

There have been occasional network problems between our web server and the database server used for the forums, which are located in different parts of the country (Atlanta vs Dallas) and in different ISPs. When this happens, it takes the ISPs a few minutes to route around the problem.
