I'd expect this since the OP hand is so flat. Play S/A 5 card majors I think I'd also just bid 3
♠ here which is quite preemptive. Sometimes the opps can't make 4 of anything, and sometimes they'll fail to bid it when it does make.
In a 5 card major system, if PD decides to bid 4
♠ here after the takeout X I'd certainly understand and maybe it is best, but without the T/O X I'd never want to directly raise 1
