In the second case, I would lead the queen of spades quite quick, hoping to catch a small honour in dummy and a quick trick for partner, or some other layouts where the spectacular lead will win.

I guess after the first bidding I had tried the same but with less confidence, after all my lho did not double, he may not be short in spades...

I don't see the need for a spectacular lead (maybe if my suit were a little stronger, say AQT8x). So I lead a fourth-best spade.

I'd go with a heart in the first auction for sure, 2nd one is meh I guess I'd lead a spade but not thrilled
