RHO (East) passes. Assuming you pass (a matter of style I guess), LHO (West) also passes and partner opens 1♥, improving your hand.

You play a (reverse) response of 2♣ Drury, with 2♦ / 2♥ rebid by opener showing a good / bad opener respectively.
3♥ is limit raise.

What is your plan and why?
If you bid Drury and partner shows a minimum, do you bid 3♦ as a funky game try ?

I open the hand...if my style forbids that I bid drury.... and trust pard....I have my bid.

I must have a limit raise or an opening bid........

you need to decide this is either an opening bid in first/second seat or a typical 4 card limit raise as a passed hand.

Since you play both drury and 3H Limit raise, apparently you use Drury with 3 card raises and 3H with 4. That's what you have....a 4-card limit raise. You already decided it wasn't an opening bid in your partnership, so that is not important, now.

Bidding 3H also doesn't allow them to wake up and compete at the two-level.

If partner chooses to rebid 2♥, I am happy to play there. If they then find their spades and compete to 3♠ after I take the push to 3♥, I am happy with that too.

Partner opened 4th seat, which means he either has a full opener or he has some ♠. I would probably bid Drury and raise 2♥ to 3. At MP I would certainly pass 2♥.

I'd give it another try after 2♣. I have 2 bullets and a 4-card support. If I played Bergen then I'd bid 3♦ showing 10-11 and a 4-card support and THEN I'd pass (regretfully) partner's sign-off. But I'm not prepared to pass this hand at the 2 level.

Being white you don't have to push so much for game, but I think it'd be more than sato play at the three level with this hand.

Original Pass for me

After 1H bid 2NT (good limit raise to 3H) - no "dreary Drury" for us brits - why would 4th hand be on the game?

(Suppose 3D fit jump is also possibility but suit guality is not great)

Me too but after 1♥ this is a super 11 and I'll take a push to 3♥ after drury. I can't imagine this going down unless they can make some spades.

Your new partner will know a lot about your style after this auction no matter what you choose, just stay consistent for the rest of the set.
