Welsh rain 1 American waterproofs 0

Extremely amused by this story, it appears the US Ryder Cup team's waterproofs weren't, and they had to go down to the merchandise tent like any other member of the public to buy some more. Their golf bags leaked too. Whoops - major publicity own goal for one or two US companies.

Add to this, the guy who ran the stall they bought the stuff from has just been interviewed, his name is Richard Head.

I am having a hard time figuring out what is further up the ass of LSU coach Les Miles: is it his head or the horseshoe he keeps there?

That bees roulade, dumplings & cabbage dish looks pretty appetizing.

Speaking of bees ...

Quote

Scientists and Soldiers Solve a Bee Mystery
By KIRK JOHNSON
DENVER — It has been one of the great murder mysteries of the garden: what is killing off the honeybees?

Since 2006, 20 to 40 percent of the bee colonies in the United States alone have suffered “colony collapse.” Suspected culprits ranged from pesticides to genetically modified food.

Now, a unique partnership — of military scientists and entomologists — appears to have achieved a major breakthrough: identifying a new suspect, or two.

The Dallas Cowboys are finally starting to resemble a team that is representative of America and is finally worthy of being called America's Team.

Hmmmm this *sounds* like an anti-American shot, but today's loss only drops them to 1-3. Why hedge? The Bills are a truly pathetic 0-5.

Yes, it's a comment on the state of affairs in American and with the Dallas Cowboys.

The Great Recession and 1-3 back-to-back.

The Depression would have equaled the Bills + 49ers. :P
