I've totally snookered myself by passing on the first round. I would have overcalled 2♥ (unfav w/7222 doesn't warrant a 3♥).

Given that I somehow did pass...
1) 3♥. Everything is a guessing game now huh? At least now LHO will think twice about (if any) how many spades to bid.
2) Is the splinter limited to 10-12? If so I double and hope to get them in a 4-3 fit but if not I'll just pass taking what's left of my plus score.

Hi,

#1 I would have overcalled 2H or 3H.
Now ..., my reaction was 3H, but the psych was the 1S
opening, so 3H may get killed, so Pass is certainly the
better auction.
#2 Again I would have ..., ops I am repeating myself, but I
would go with Pass.
<Added Later> The alternative is X, depends if you
assume the 1S was a psych or the concrete meaning of
4H was not shared on both sides of the screen.
