Funny you say that.

I wonder, in the long run, whether opening 5[sp] aqs "I have a lot of spades and am making a completely nonsensical call" makes more sense that "I have spades and a minor and a huge player hand; bid 5NT to ask for my minor if you want."

Just wondering...
