Scoring: MP

We had some trouble with this hand after (opps passing throughout)
1H-1S
3H (supposedly invitational ?) ... now what ? 3 S ? 4 S ? 4 H ? 3 NT ?

Assume S bids 3 NT , North bids 4 S... given the 3 H invitational can South move towards slam ?

The fact that 7 makes, it doesn't mean it is a good contract :)

after 3 anything but pass is game forcing, so a standard bidding should be 1-1-3-3-4( or 4 better wich should agree on spades and show a feature in diamonds since anything esle makes no sense)

Agree with everything Fluffy said: west should bid 3S and getting to 6S is fine.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.
