Scoring: MoneyBridge

Bidding starts 1NT-2. I looked at my options, 2NT shows 4333, 2 and 3 show a doubleton and 3 shows 4-5s :D I thought this was an error (but I guess 3 showed doubleton - forgot to check) and bid 3. The rest of the auction went:

1NT - 2 (showing 5+!!!)
3 - 3NT
4 - 5
5 - 6
6 - 7
7 - pass

What the hell was that all about? I guess the explanation was right (my bid wrong), but he started with a transfer showing 5+ (he had only 4) and thought that when I kept showing support, a higher level with as trumps would still be better, 3 times in a row!!

Lucky it was 'for fun' ;)

Yup I had roughly the same problem

I told GIB I wanted to play some contract by bidding it. GIB with 2 points and 6 of his suit to the Q corrected to 4 of it... and 5 of it..... and 6 of it.... and 7 of it.....

This has to be the closest I have seen to a genuine and consistent BUG in the GIB bidding structure.
