What I think would be cool would be to have a table session that simulated a real rubber session with an old sticky bunch of cards, badly shuffled

We are not talking Goulash. Just the occasional hand where you can guess what people have

While this might be cute once or twice, it seems like quite a bit of coding for something that isn't really that useful.

We discussed this idea last year in another thread (about Culbertson's symmetry nonsense). I don't think it's difficult to code, but quite a lot of work yes.

OTOH you could make this dumbed down dealer the "Basic" default and make people pay more for the "Advanced" real thing, just like the robot :)

Seriously, if you have even an hour to spend on Dealer then please use it to just restore the "Tricks" function (which doesn't require any coding at all).
