At this vulnerability 5♦ looks clear cut. 4♦ (if that is a pre-empt instead of Texas) just makes it easier for the opps. to compete. With pre-empts partner knows what you have (generally), and the the opps. are fishing blindly for a contract at this level.

Plus, if you bid 4D and the opps end up in 4M, youre going to be unhappy unless a very disciplined partner, playing you for no defence, doubles
