Whilst not really autobiographies, Barnet Shenkin's 'Playing with the Bridge Legends' and 'Heroes, Icons and Scandals' have plenty of reminiscences.

Since I have the book I think I can (briefly) translate it to anyone you prefer.

This doesn't sound like an autobiography. That means the person wrote the biography of themself.

Indeed. In the presentation - Immortality - the author among other things said: "(...) In the following pages the reader will see for himself the credentials of thirty-five candidates. Each one brings with him his titles and dealings which often reveal his character not only at the gaming table, but also in life. In vino veritas. Even more so in bridge.(...)". However for completeness I say that among the Italians there were: Perroux, Avarelli, Pabis- Ticci, D'Alelio, Belladonna, Forquet, Garozzo while among the French: Jais, Trezel, Deruy, Besse. Then, between the dots: Meredith, Dodds, Gardener, Kay, Berah.
