A group of four of us, playing in the casual game, were trying to get a fifth person onboard to kibitz.
We tried everything and weren't able to get her in, even though she had our user names and vice versa.
Any thoughts on how to accomplish this?

Was she in the casual area? If someone is marked as a friend they should be able to lick on your name and then on “join”.

On a related note, does anyone know how to find out who is kibitzing at your table?

As long as you have a touch screen this may work, but it would show amazing control

As Vampyr says, the key is that you are all on the same server. The kibitzer should have at least one of the players marked as a friend and be able to see them online. If the kib cannot see them, then they are on different BBO servers and the kib should swap to the other one, normally by going to the Casual area or using 'Back' if they are in the Casual area.

The People tab lists Friends online by default and there are options to see Hosts, Stars and Search for friends. When you are at a table there is an option to see Kibitzers.

But you frequently have to scroll over to see it - at least on my default setup, kibitzers tab falls off the right edge of the window.
