I am not sure if this feature is there or not - if yes, please let me know
If not, this is desirable - basically, what i want is that for team games - currently all the open positions are locked and I have to click on one and get permission to join - which, if is not the intention of the host, I don't want to bother him/her - what I would like is to have an open position being signified as such so that I can just click and join - without inconveniencing the host
Thanks

The host will always get asked for permission and it probably needs to work this way. For example, a pair may negotiate to play and you don't want only one to get the place.
Most hosts are also choosy
If the host does not want random people playing but wants to invite friends not currently online, they can use the +private+ in the description.

Paul
Thanks for your reply - That makes sense
A further improvement would be to give host the option - he can either keep it restricted (for his friends/team mates) or keep it open - then, anyone can join by clicking on the 'Open' seat - saving permission reply by host
Thanks again

After hosting two or three games with that set off, they will never do it again, I betcha.
