The GIB System Notes page says:

3NT: 6322 shape, one-round force, less than 18 total points.


This appears to be incorrect.

Incidentally, 3NT is a better contract. But this is basic GIB, so no simulations were involved. Just the notes wrong, I suspect.

Obviously GIB should be able to pass this bid if it wants, so I would say it's the system notes that aren't quite right, not the bidding rule.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.
