Maybe I'm not blameless, but I figured 7H was a good contract opposite something mundane like xx AKxxxx xx xxx so when partner shows an even number plus a void, I figured 7 wouldn't be too bad. Perhaps it would not have bid 2H with AKxxxx and a void though, I don't know. But it does make me ask if gib should be bidding 5NT with no key cards.

void response to RKCB is 0 key cards acceptable?

LOL @ West for not doubling it. Or did he not trust himself to lead the ace-king if NS run to 7NT?

Here it is why i.e. needs not jumping (as i have told in RKCB0314) in 5NT (but here we can make a few as a problem of programming related with CC/system adopted): 5♣(=RKB0314) or 5♦ in the other case, clear you stopping in 5♥. In the other eventualites when you can get up it is possibile indication of void quering for Q (5NT=void+Q).(Lovera)

There were a number of tables in 6H, none of which were doubled either

Easy solution here. You have all the sides suits locked up, and you are missing the AK of H. So bid 5NT instead of 4NT. True, in this case you only improve down 2 to down 1, but you make if partner has one of them, or if they split 1-1.

You also end in 7 if partner has KQxxxx(x). That's why I bid 4NT.

So, I guess you're supposed to bid 3♣ and hear partner make a minimal response, then make another similar move and hear partner signoff again in order to determine that slam is not possible? Ick.

Getting GIB to continue with an appropriate hand is next to impossible.
