Depends on oppo strength. If they're competent I'll try to set up a . If they're BBO randoms who both could have balanced 15 counts, I'll go for a passive .

Opps are BBO randoms with "adv" in profile. Previous hands label them as "Rueful Rabbits". Dunno if that helps Posted Image

A diamond looks obvious to me at all forms of scoring.

Thx all.

Judging that 6 might have been based on a long club suit, I lead a diamond. In practice it doesn't matter, as hands were:

The lead blows a trick, but declarer as 12 anyway. Still, change minor suit queens and this is the killing lead.

The good news is that the Rabbit contrived to go TWO DOWN Posted Image

Two balanced 15 counts, you say? (okay, if you squint a bit :P)

I know I already see the low dia lead is a waste but I would try
at IMPS especially since there seems to be much danger of opps
setting up clubs and a dia lead might easily be the only way to
set them (it requires the least from p). At MP I would be a tad more
leary since giving away 1 trick can be just as disastrous as setting
the contract can be great. We have no strong reason to assume the
opps belong in slam so going for the gusto has much less to recommend
it at MP scoring.

There is also the slightly added risk that the dia lead might let the
slam leak home. This can be quite brutal at both forms of scoring but it
just feels worse at MP since we are also risking giving up an overtrick
(we care not a whit about at IMPS).

I'd lead
"Genius has its own limitations, however stupidity has no such boundaries!"
"It's only when a mosquito lands on your testicles that you realize there is always a way to solve problems without using violence!"

"Well to be perfectly honest, in my humble opinion, of course without offending anyone who thinks differently from my point of view, but also by looking into this matter in a different perspective and without being condemning of one's view's and by trying to make it objectified, and by considering each and every one's valid opinion, I honestly believe that I completely forgot what I was going to say."
