Had something amusing happen at the club last night that I'd never seen before. I led trump, and my partner won trick one with the 4.

I've done this as declarer but it's a new one on me in defence.
Something like Q1092 opposite A87654, trump suit in a slam, no other losers, I played 2-3-4 shows out.
My other favourite curio after a lot of ruffing and overruffing is winning the last 2 tricks with the 54 of trumps as an opponent follows with the 32.

I remember an opponent breaking up an endplay when I tried to exit. I led the 6 from dummy, 5 from RHO, 2 from hand, and LHO found the accidental master-play of the 3. I can't remember the details of the situation, but if he'd won that trick I'd have made the contract...
