I think it is the first time I win one of those, actually it was only one of the 3 I played recently, but on the other 2 De Falco played perfect and gave us no chance. We had to play perfect and guess great. One of the swings in our favour was for reaching the right spot on this hand:

2 is GF, we play 2 negative (0-7 or a bit more if balanced or unsuitable for stronger action) and rest is natural. Not the best agreements, but that is because we seldom open 2.

You can play the full hand here:

I don't think with those agreements opener should be allowed to pass 3NT following a positive response, which the above simulation does following 2 3 3 3NT.

Also passed me out after 2NT-3-3NT. Dunno if it was intentional, I wasn't sure what XNT shows after the initial response.

My normal agreement is that 2-full positive is F4N unless a cue is missed and you know you have 2 losers in a suit.

Do you have commentary on the play of the hand anywhere? I played it in a stupor and made 7N, but don't know if I deserved to.

the play is not very interesting you need a suit to break, there is also a squeeze if oyu can bring 3 club tricks and someone has both spades and diamonds.

Congratulations!

I saw no explanation regarding the keycard auction on bridgegod when I played it. But 7N was bid/made.

:(, I typed 5=3-0 for a lot of auctions, but probably missed some.
