I thought that a
♣ couldn't be right, declarer would win high, pull trump and run the diamonds. I imagined the only way we were setting this was for partner to have the
♠A and able to give me another
♦ ruff.
In hindsight the trick is coming to me naturally but I wasn't smart enough to work that out at the table.
