Second hand, don't have this problem, can bid 2♠ first time. Say 1♥-2♠(single suited and huge, or GF, 5 good ♠, 4 decent ♥)-3♦-5♦(agreeing ♥, exclusion), if partner has x, AKxxx, AKQJx, xx, tough). 5N to find K♠ if all keycards held as partner will bid 5♥ with 3.

The 2nd hand, we could use Zelandakh's splinter system:
1H - 3S! ( void splinter somewhere )
3NT! ( asks ) - 4D! ( ♦ - void )

( 1M-1NT!-3m-?? )." ....Justin Lall
" Did someone mention relays? " .... Zelandakh

There will be hard decisions later but I don't see much we can do on this round to avoid that.

On the follow-ups, 4♠ cue with both, though on the 2nd I'm concerned about ♣ losers so might sign off in 4♥, and definitely would if playing Italian cues.

3♥ on the second.
Set trumps on both and lets go exploring for slams :-)

On the 1st one :
4D ... Ctrl cue showing support for Opener's 2nd suit ( ♣ ) .

You can never find out that partner has ♠x or ♠xx, this has 2 issues, first that you cannot know if 7♣ can be made, and second is that you cannot play 6♠ instead of 6♣ at MPs.
I tried 4♣ and ended up in 6♣, partner had ♠xx ♥AQxxx ♦A ♣AK10xx, ♠KQ was stiff behind so 6♠ might or might not make
Second one was just for fun, partner had ♠- ♥AKxxxx ♦AKxxx ♣Jx Opening leader has ♣AQx, and on my local 80% of the 20 table field bid and made 6♥ on a non club lead, wich is ludicrous not only because nobody found lack of club control nor led a club, but also because 13 tricks are easy if you manage dummy's entries enough.
Showing controls etc and getting a club lead due to it for +450 was worth 5% of the MPs.
