Partner says he has BOTH 4 card Majors.
Given my solid ♠ and the ♥ Q J , he must have the two top ♥honors.
I'll keep my 5 card ♠ suit to use for a discard.

If I play partner for AK of ♥ AND the King of ♦ I would bid 6 NT to make club ruffs and lightner doubles impossible.
But I would not play him for such a good hand.
And I am a little afraid of club ruffs anyway, but I have no bid that does my hand justice. I would like to bid 5 ♥ as inviting to six, but who should understand that this does not aks for a control in clubs? Anyway, that is my choice.

5♥ is asking pd to bid slam if he has ♣ stopper i am afraid.

Agree. Even (3D)--X--(P)--4D can be 5c and a 4M. Choosing the right game is always more important than slam try.
In this case, over 4C without special agreement i think these are natural responses.
4D= i like D
---4H = both M
---4S = 4S+5D not slammish
---4Nt rkc in D
---5C light slam try in D
---5D to play
4H= I like H
----4S= S+D
----4NT = rkc in H
----5C asking for C control
----5D D+S slam try
----5H slam try in H
4S = im 5332/5341/ and im willing to play 4S/5D
-----4Nt rkc in S
-----5C slam try D+H
-----5D D+H
IMO With both M slammish responder need to bid 4Nt(Pick-A-Suit) not 4C
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."

Driving slam opposite a passed hand seems excessive. Partner's bidding won't always be based on aces and kings, and he is allowed to stretch slightly to make sure of reaching the right strain. xx AKxx Qxxxx xx and xxxx AKxx Qxx xx are normal 4♣ bids. I'd bid 5♣.
