Why did North not ruff to set the contract at rick 4

That play doesn't work, although I didn't see it myself, either. I asked a better player, and he saw why.

South doesn't cover the Q, and North ruffs. There's now only 1 dummy entry, but clubs aren't good yet, so there's still a spade loser in hand.

DD analysis says it's always down 1 on a lead.

However, I agree that that would be the correct way to play the hand. If South has the long trump along with the K, the contract makes with an overtrick, while ducking goes down 2.

Was this MP or IMP? I did some tests, and it seems to play A at IMP, Q at MP. The basic problem is that it doesn't make the inference that the lead is a singleton.
