1. vul? - non-vul?
2. matchpoint/ imp?
3. how strong NT?
I suppose the entire bidding was:
1NT - p - 2♠ - 3♦
p - p - ?
I consider:
1. pass
2. 3nt
3. 3♥
4. 4♣
5. X
My personal choice would be 3nt, but I have a closer look at it depending on the answers to especially question 1 and 2. I have good chances to make it, especially if LHO should lead ♦, any ♣-values are well placed.
After interference of LHO I cant do everything I would like. So I just take my chances: 3NT.

If pass: 3NT canonical.
If 3♥: I suppose this shows 5, so raise to 4. If I'm not sure, just 3NT wtp.
If 4♣: yuck. Raise to 5 and good luck.
Obviously this assumes LHO has AQ of diamonds. If pard comes up with one of tthose, these actions may be silly

1. after Pass, I would probably shoot it out with 4♣ esp. at matchpoints.
2. after 3♥, raise to 4♥.
3. after 4♣, raise to 5♣.
I would be nice to know more about the situation - vulnerability, type of scoring, state of the match, quality of the opponents, even the feel of the table.

It was a speedball. LHO is supposedly good. The colors were all red. I think it was IMPs -= if your answer is different for MPs, say so.
Sorry but your 'table feel' depends on the quality of the lacquer of your desk that your monitor sits on.

Over
pass - dbl (shows extra, t/o oriented, not penalty) - after all partner has no idea, you could transfer with 0 points.
3♥ - raise to 4♥
4♣ - 4♠ (Idont show Kx as a control in a suit that was bid by LHO and when the lead is through my hand).
Interesting that you dont mention a 3♠ bid as an option

"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."
