Lead is the spade 3, fourth best leads.
RHO wins the SA and returns S9. How would you plan to play from here? (matchpoints)

I play low. Assuming that loses, I win the third spade and play a heart to the king. I expect that will win; when it does, I play a diamond to the 10.

When LHO cashes his long spade, I'll throw a club on it. I expect that later I'll take another diamond finesse, but it depends on what East has shown up with by that stage.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

My guess:
Finesse ♠T. Win ♠ return. Play hearts until they win ♥A.On the 4th ♠, discard ♦ from both hands.

Not for the first time, however, having read other posts, I now think gnasher's line may be better.
