Scenario............ I have noticed recently that chinese players very welcomed
to BBO tourneys...but this occurs a lot.and i think the chinese are being somewhat helpfull.
i am sitting south my pard north. before anyone bids i click opps name for profile.
EAST STATES precision/sayc---west profile states NOTHING.........
DEALER WEST 1cl.i click the 1cl and await my pard now bids x,im still waiting, and EAST bids 3cl.
now up comes an answer ?hts----so i click again, and silence,so privte to west i type
are you ply precision or sayc? no answer--yes i have values for my partner, and 2 suits.
even if west passes pard passes and east opens 1cl or 1d one still needs to know
if opponents are playing precision or sayc.i think the chinese if playing
with a pick up non chinese.are suggesting to another player they can handle both
systems--------- eventually when i summoned the TD and explained the situation
we finally got an answer it was SAYC

If it wasn't alerted I would have assumed SAYC and saved a lot of time I think.
