My current desktop is close to death.

Anyone have recommendations for good, mid line gaming desktops? (I'm currently using an Alienware, which has taught me that reliability is a very important attribute)

well i happened to be looking at this reacently, and seems like the palimcore excalibure line is pretty good. You can see reviews at pcpro.co.uk - normally my first stop for reviews when i want to buy computers, something like this

I assume this means that Alienware was not reliable for you?

I'm also thinking of getting a new system as mine is extremely old (8 years!)
