I am never that happy about these auctions, I would never pull this to 3C , it could be worse than 2H doubled.

Somehow depending on preempt style but with any of my club partners I would pass, and also with a random bbo partner.

you need to try for game 3NT looks questionable but possible nevertheless 4 is closer than 5 so 3 for me

I think you're missreading who's bid it is. You are to decide whether to leave pard in 2x or to pull to 3

I ran through a few sims in my brain this AM and 3 and 2 were pretty similar assuming 5-1 heart breaks and 4-1 clubs. However, we don't know for sure clubs are bad, and they haven't doubled us yet. I would also like a club lead in case they bid 3N.

So 3 for me.

I would pass. I think clubs will play better on average, but probably not by a whole trick.

3.

No reason to doubt the opponents that 2 doubled won't go well for us. 3 might be just as bad or worse, but sometimes it will be a lot better. I am happy to risk the occasional worse score from 3X to avoid many bad 2X scores.

I guess if your 2 openings are pretty solid there is more of a case for passing.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

Would pass playing with anyone who plays reasonably sound weak 2's and expect to have decent chances to make this.
