play 3N communication problems

I play low at trick one. H985 is as likely as KQX5, and people don't always lead low from KQ9xx. Playing low gives me an extra trick when it's right, but playing the jack doesn't have the same benefit.

After low-king-ace, I play a club to the jack and then give up a spade. Later, I can overtake the diamond and lead another club up. That guarantees it if LHO has led fourth best.

After low-nine, I win the ace and play hearts. My play is to set up a heart trick, overtake in diamonds, and finesse twice in spades.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn
