it is actually "Vaya con Dios" ;) Vaya is the verb to go, Vía means a path (a way)

My older daughter spent her junior college year in Madrid. Shortly after she arrived she went with a friend to a cafe and they ordered a pitcher of sangre. After some strange looks they finally succeeded in making it clear that what they really wanted was sangria, they could hold off on the pitcher of blood.
