Time for my occasional plea for help due to ignorance.

I just got a new Blackberry Curve. How do I transfer the contact list (and pictures?) from my old Motorola Razr? Free would be preferred. I use Verizon. I have already set up and am using the new phone, the old phone is deactivated, sorry if doing that was premature.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

I got a pearl last year and when I bought the phone the guys at Best Buy transfered my contact list AND photos (awesome since I had one from the 50-yard line at the Big House) while I was filling out the new contract...

I guess if you went back to the store now they might charge you but they might now. How they did it? I wouldn't know.

When I had a razr there was firmware that could link your phone to your PC in order to backup, sync etc. I think there was a faciltity to save contacts, photos etc to files on yoru PC.

not sure if that helps.

As much as I like mine, I think I will be switching at the end of the year. If a new phone isn't out, then probably to the Bold.
