I'd go with a club, this heart suit is way too aggressive for a lead into a 2N opener at MP, but I do think some aggression is called for (ie, not a trump).

A club looks normal.

A heart could easily be better.

I am not leading a trump with Jx its too likely (but not certain) we need to take out side tricks before they can ditch them on some diamonds.

I know I would lead a club here for sure, but not sure if it is best.
Please note: I am interested in boring, bog standard, 2/1.

If opps are playing texas and i trust them to have a slam try for this sequence then I would lead a heart. Otherwise I'd lead a trump, I hate all my leads. If you had thrown in some decent club spots I'd lead that insteafd.

I lead a club.
Probably declarer will play A, K, ruff in hand, draw trumps for 10 tricks, but I still can't bring myself to lead a trump. Don't like a heart lead at all.
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

I have K108x in hearts?

Oh, Boy! I love this kind of lead problem, because I have my favorite option available -- a surrounding play on opening lead!

I'll lead (because this is a "guess the lead" question) the heart 10. I'm catering to the following layout in hearts:

Partner can get in with his spade winner and lead a heart through declarer before declarer can use his diamonds to pitch his heart loser. If he tries to pitch the heart loser before pulling trumps, I can trump in.

:(
"Gibberish in, gibberish out. A trial judge, three sets of lawyers, and now three appellate judges cannot agree on what this law means. And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."
