Weird auction. And why can't a lead a major?
Maybe p is slightly more likely to have a void ♣. I voted for a club without any conviction.

The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket

trump or hearts are normal. p asking me to not be normal...
i'd likely guess there's a double fit afoot and lead a club. but it just seems like a guess

I think a club is slightly better here, but I have no idea. It's vaguely possible that I will get a diamond trick anyway if partner is void (AK in declarer's hand).
