With one more day to go I have played over 1500 boards on BBO in the month of February.
Some of them I even played well.
I would like to extend my appreciation to Fred, Uday, Sherrie, and all that make BBO such a great place to play.
At the ACBL tournament rate of 8 1/3 cents per board, I would owe BBO $125. I think I have spent 3 or 4 BBO$ this month.
$125 may not sound like a lot of money but it would be a major hit to my meager retirement budget.
Thanks, especially to Fred, and his comittment to keep BBO a free site. We all owe him a huge debt of gratitude.

Ditto.
When I wanted to include co-TDs in one of my tourneys, I made a typo in the TD list so that it didn't work. Uday spontaneously corrected the problem for me and informed me. That's an amazing level of service. And even from a company that doesn't charge me anything, it only makes watch a few sponsored links most of which are relevant to me.
Fred's, Gwen's and Uday's active participation on this forum together with their network of yellows, and Fred's openness about his business decisions as well as one bridge issues, makes this site really in touch with it's users.
I hope BBO can serve as a model for all kinds of online communities, beyond bridge. And I hope I can pay a little bit of what I get from BBO back by directing tourneys and maintaining the Precision FD file.

The world would be such a happy place, if only everyone played Acol :) --- TramTicket
